Math
We talked about what attendance was and all the different was we can take attendance. We made an attendance stick that we can use to see who is here every day because each cube represents a student. We also talked about how there are special days on the calendar and we tried to guess what some special days were based on their picture. We talked about what Math Workshop should look like and sound like and how we treat our math tools. We got to explore them everyday to get familiar with what we can use to help us with math.
Science
We learned about recycling and what it means to reuse and reduce. We also cut and pasted our science vocabulary in our science journals.
