This week we talked about different ways people celebrate the holiday season. We learned about Christmas by making a tree...
Kwanzaa by making a Kinara...
Hanukkah by making a Menorah...
and Las Posadas by making a poinsettia.
We also talked about reindeer this week! We learned all the different parts and did a few crafts to make reindeer. Below is one of them. They had to make a reindeer out of shapes. They did a great job!
This week in math we revisited attributes. We all took off our shoes and put them together by different attributes. We also talked about which shoes didn't belong in the group and why.
These were all girls shoes. They all also had pink on them. The two shoes that didn't belong were the velcro shoes.
We had a visitor from first grade come and read to us! She was in my class last year! What a great reader! The kids just loved her! Good Job Rhyan!
We finally made it back to library!
