MaLia had such a great time with Skippy!  He helped her lose her first tooth, he cheered her on at her soccer game and he loved playing together at the park!

In Science we have been learning about the properties of water.  The two things that we look for when we explore water is the clarity and color.

We explored 4 different bottles of water and determined the clarity of each.  Then we predicted where the water came from.

In Reading we continued working on our non-fiction farm book.  This will be on display at Open House in April!  They can't wait to show off their hard work!

In writing we have been working on All About Me books.  These will also be on display at Open House.  

That is why we have very little pictures taken from the previous week.  We don't want to ruin the surprise! :)

In math we took our 3rd math test that focused on shapes, counting forwards and backwards, and some problem solving.

Emerson's sister, Ella, came to read to us on Friday!  We really enjoyed it!  Thanks Ella!

I had a great Spring Break with my family!  We spent the week skiing in Lake Tahoe!  It's great being in a family of educators!
