Wow! What a great day! We weren't able to go outside due to a heat advisory but tomorrow is looking good! Everyone did such a good job of following directions and staying on task. We practiced our handwriting on the letter "A"and we talked about how good writers don't always finish first. They take their time so their work is nice and neat no matter how long it takes. We also did an activity to the book, Mrs. Bindergarten Gets Ready for Kindergarten. In math we made a circle map of all the things we knew about math and we explored math tubs afterwards. In science this week we will be talking about recycling and what it means to us and the environment.
Just a few reminders:
- please make sure that you chid has a snack for snack-time
- put money in your child's lunch account if they are buying a lunch
- make sure you child's name is on their backpacks and lunch boxes
Thank you for making today great for us. I asked Seth if he was good today and he said something like "Sort of I stayed on green and waited all day to change to blue but it just didn't happen for me"...lol I just thought it was so funny, believe me, im just happy he actually stayed on green :)
