Im A Little Indian...

What a crazy week it was!  Our schedule was off due to all of our fun activities all week.  We also practiced for our program all week long so it kind of threw us all for a loop.  
Literacy

• Handwriting: Ss and Ee
• Poem: I'm A Little Indian
• Word wall words: have, three, four
• read The Littlest Pilgrim and made a circle map of the important things about thanksgiving.
• shared our thankful bags
• created Indian hats for the feast
• made our Indian/turkey art project
• put cereal feathers on our turkeys in a pattern
• practiced for the program each morning
• completed centers and jobs

Math

• made patterns on corn
• worked on even and odd numbers
• recognized number words

Science 

• Explored and talked about leaves
• Mr. O'Hearn came to visit
• we had our thanksgiving feast
• watched A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving
• went to library
