Last week was filled with fun crafts and learning all about different types of celebration! We learned what Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, Las Posadas, Chinese New Year and Christmas were all about! We made a keepsake for each topic. Some are hanging in the hallway for all to see!
We also did a circle map of traditions. We talked about what a tradition was and we all shared with each other our own traditions that we do each year.
We started our gingerbread unit and we will continue it throughout this week. Last week we did our gingerbread man experiment to see what would happen if we put him in water and.......HE FELL APART!
It was so sad.
In math we introduced ordinal numbers and did fun activities to test if we understood the concept!
Don't forget that Thursday the 16th is pajama day and our winter party is Friday!

Thank you Ms. K for the beautiful blanket with Seth's name on it, what a wonderful gift. Thank you for all that you do for us. Merry Christmas!
