The past few weeks have been pretty crazy!  We finally had a full 5 day week!

Poem: A Valentine for You

This week we had are AMAING Valentine's party!  Thank you room moms for putting it all together!!! We also learned how to write a letter.  We first learned how to start a letter, then what goes in the middle and then we talked about how to close the letter.  The first day we wrote a valentine to whoever we wanted to.  The next day we wrote about anything to our favorite pop start or super hero.  I was very surprised to hear who they liked!  On Friday we got to make whatever we wanted out of different size hearts.  This gave the kids and opportunity to be creative.  Some of the things they made were a butterfly, bee, a jet, cat, girl, tiger,giraffe and a puppy.  I will be posting pictures of them soon!

In math we continued to work on telling time to the hour and also introduced time to the half hour.  They also learned how to write the time digitally!

In science we finished up our unit in movement.  We talked about what rotate and axel meant.  Then we did an experiment with a car and we made our own ramp.  We would roll the car down it at different angles and predict and conclude what would happen using our new vocabulary.

At library we did an activity with Mrs. Biamont about how we as a class go together.  They wrote it on a piece of paper and then illustrated what they wrote.  We were also very lucky and excited that Zachary's dad was a Watch D.O.G.S. dad for Wednesday!  He hung out with us and even did the fire drill and bad weather drill!  Thanks for spending time with us!!

Thank you to all my little ones who gave me valentine goodies and cards!  They made me feel so special and very loved!  I love you all so much and each one of you have a special place in my heart!
