We made some anchor charts to help us remember what nouns and verbs consist of.

We also got to act out verbs.  I would hold up a word on a stick and then they would have to act it out.  They had so much fun doing this!

We came up with many different way to create numbers 3-8.  All of these answers below came from them!  They love coming up with the long number sentences. :)

We learned what it means to visualize and that mathematicians visualize the word problem as they work it out.
