We finished up poetry last week in reading.  After reading several poems we were able to make this anchor chart of what poetry always has and sometimes has.

 Pedro was The Cat's Meow last week.  Here are a few of his favorite things.

We have been learning all about maps.  We learned what planet, country, state and city we live in.

 This week we have been writing acrostic poems.  We all did one about Spring and then chose our own topic to write about.

Karina wrote an acrostic poem called Princess.
