We came up with some GREAT rules for our classroom!  Then they each signed a star to add to our flag.

 Seth celebrated a birthday this week.  Happy birthday Seth!

This week in reading we reviewed why we read, Reader's Workshop expectations, how to shop for a "just right book", three ways to read and book and made our class stamina goals for this year!  

During Writer's Workshop we talked about some of our favorite things to write about, what great authors do and why we write.

We started to discuss who a scientist is and the type of tools they use.   We will explore these tools next week!

We had so much fun during Math Workshop getting to play Concentration and Tens Frame War!
