Snow, Snow and More Snow!!!

Literacy Word wall words: that, make, who Poem: Hibernation Word family: -en We read The Mitten and we added to our mitten book characters, setting and events daily. made our own mittens and retold the story (have your child tell you the story!) Math Continued to work on 3D shapes and did a UPSCheck problem everyday.  They are as follows: We also used a dice and rolled it twice to make up our own problems.  We are using a number line to help us figure out the answers! Science We are studying rock!! talked about different kinds of rock and their textures and ways we can sort them completed our own rock book observation used magnifying glasses to look at all different types of rocks Mrs. O'Hearn also stopped by to talk about how important it is to listen!  In library Mrs. Biamont made a circle map of things on a farm after reading a farm book!
