We worked on making connections and predictions with books.  We also talked about Main Idea.  We matched the pictures to the correct sentences.  We continue to write the sounds down that we hear in a word.  Please encourage this at home so they will be confident in their writing.

Math

We review all of our math concepts learned so far this year.  We also learned how to write the number 8 and 9.

Science 

In science we talked about the pumpkin life cycle.

Tuesday:  Put a cap on drugs! Wear a Hat!  

Wednesday: Team up against drugs!  Wear your favorite sports team jersey or shirt.

Thursday:  Don’t let unhealthy choices “sneak” up on you!   Wear sneakers!!!

Friday:  Stay drug Free!  Wear your school shirt to show your spirit!  


Today we had our Pumpkin Rotation.  We went to each kindergarten class and did a fun pumpkin activity.  We even made pumpkin bread in one class!  We will get to taste it tomorrow!  Ask your child about all the activities we did!
