In writing we've been talking about our writing process.  We have a saying that goes, "When you think your'e done, you've only just begun."  Our writing process is a never ending cycle.  Here are the steps we take each day when working on our writing pieces during Writers Workshop.

1. Think of a topic

2. Write name and date

3. Draw your picture

4. Label your picture

5. Write a sentence

6. Add to the picture or add another sentence

7. Start a NEW piece!

Pippa the Pumpkin Fairy came to visit us this week!  She left a note and two of her silly pumpkins, Silly and Sally!  They report back to Pippa every night who had PUMPKIN-tastic behavior and then they sit at that students seat the next day!  The kids just love them!  They will be around the whole month of October!
